DeVonta Smith x Endstate
The first active professional athlete to sign with a web3 native footwear company - DeVonta Smith,
WR of the Philadelphia Eagles. We got to co-design DeVonta’s first sneaker together, resulting in this amazing product.
While it may be minimal, its packed with features and cues that align with DeVonta.
The upper primarily consists of a technical engineered knit, synthetic quarter panels for stability, a thin TPU heel counter with the DS logo, and a Vibram Fuga outsole. The design has a bunch of cues that reference DeVonta’s style and nickname references of sticky hands or sweet 6. So we were inspired to generate a gradient of hexagons (referencing a bee hive) over the toe box, a honey drip pattern below the collar, and of course his favorite colors of blue/pink, black/gold, and kelly green.
